Josef Laštovka (born February 20, 1982 in Benešov ) is a Czech football player .
Career
Josef Laštovka began playing football in Soběhrdy , in 1994 the defender moved on loan to FK Švarc Benešov , whose first team played in the first division. In 1999 he took part in the U-16 European Championship in his own country and was then obliged by FK Jablonec , for whom he made his debut in the Gambrinus league at the age of 17 on the 2nd matchday of the 1999/00 season . In the following season Laštovka was a regular player. In the summer of 2001 he became vice European champion with the Czech U-18 team .
In winter 2004/05 he waited in vain for an offer to extend his contract and in summer 2005 he switched to SpVgg Greuther Fürth . There Laštovka could not prevail and was suspended in October 2006 after public criticism of coach Benno Möhlmann . At the end of January, Josef Laštovka moved to league competitor Wacker Burghausen . After two years in Burghausen, Laštovka returned to the Czech Republic and joined the SK Dynamo České Budějovice . Since summer 2011 he has been under contract with DAC Dunajská Streda in Slovakia . On August 10, 2012 Laštovka returned to Germany and signed with Torgelower SV Greif , where he was active until December 2012.
