Josef Lugert
Josef Lugert (born October 30, 1841 in Frohnau, † January 17, 1928 in Linz ) was a kk music inspector , professor and teacher of Franz Lehár and Jan Kubelík .
At the age of 24, Lugert was called to teach at the Prague Conservatory, where he worked for 51 years. In 1868/69 he was appointed professor. He taught piano and harmony until 1917 .
In 1877 Lugert was appointed inspector of the Graslitz and Schönbach music schools and was commissioned to rebuild the music schools in Petschau and Preßnitz. From 1905 he worked as a kk music inspector for all German institutions in Bohemia and Moravia.
