Josef Maderner

Josef Maderner (born September 26, 1915 in Vienna , † April 17, 1984 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and university lecturer. From 1974 to 1981 he was a member of the National Council .

Life

Maderner attended high school after elementary school and initially worked as a metal worker and night watchman. He studied at the University of Vienna and obtained the degree Mag. Phil. and Dr. phil. In 1969 he also received his doctorate from the University of Graz for Dr. rer. pole. Maderner worked as a private tutor, research assistant and high school professor before he was promoted to director of the Klagenfurt Commercial Academy . He was also a state school inspector and university lecturer and was appointed court councilor in 1970 . Furthermore, between 1973 and 1975, Maderner was entrusted with the management of the newly founded Federal Trade Academy and Federal Trade School Völkermarkt , initially managed as dislocated classes at the Klagenfurt Trade Academy.

Maderner worked as regional education chairman of the ÖGB Carinthia.

Maderner represented the SPÖ from July 5, 1974 to April 10, 1981 in the National Council.
