Josef Marastoni
Josef Marastoni ( Giuseppe Marastoni ; born April 1, 1834 in Venice , † December 10, 1895 in Vienna ) was an Austrian painter, etcher and lithographer.
Josef Marastoni learned painting from his father Jakab Marastoni and studied at the Venice Art Academy from 1850 to 1853 . He then worked in his father's studio in Stuhlweissenburg . From 1868 he was based in Vienna, where he was a member of the Wiener Künstlerhaus . His lithographs are in the style of Josef Kriehuber .
