Josef Paulus (painter)
Josef Paulus (born February 18, 1877 in Elbogen ( Loket ), Austria-Hungary , † February 8, 1955 in Kempten ( Allgäu ), Bavaria ) was a German painter , illustrator and photographer .
He was a student at the arts and crafts schools in Nuremberg and Vienna and later at the Heinrich Knirrs painting school in Munich.
Josef Paulus' works mainly include landscape paintings from the Bohemian region as well as copies of the works of other painters such as Raphael Wehle. His oil painting Elbogen Castle was included in the collection of the Körner Museum in Dresden.
Later Paul also worked as a photographer.
