Josef Schulte (theologian, 1942)

Josef Schulte OFM (* 1942 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian , religious priest, Franciscan , homiletic and community chaplain in Berlin.

Life

After joining the Saxon Province of the Franciscan Order, Schulte studied philosophy and theology and was ordained a priest in 1968. This was followed by studying homiletics at the Institute for Catechetics and Homiletics in Munich. From 1984 onwards he dealt with topic-centered interaction according to Ruth Cohn and was certified with the TZI diploma in 1998.

Since 1972 Schulte has worked in the training of preachers for young theologians and in preaching courses for pastors, and since 1986 he has been active in the parish pastoral care of the Ludwigskirche (Berlin-Wilmersdorf) .
