Josef Wilp (born December 22, 1938 in Mesum , today a district of Rheine ) is a German teacher and politician ( CDU ). He was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

education and profession

Josef Wilp made 1959 its Abitur at the high school Dionysianum in Rheine and studied from 1960 to 1963 at the Pedagogical University of Münster, and then at the Westphalian Wilhelms University education, theology, geography and social sciences. In 1963 he passed the 1st state examination for teaching at elementary schools, then in 1966 the 2nd state examination and was an elementary school teacher from 1963 to 1969. In 1973 Wilp passed the first state examination for teaching at secondary schools. From 1969 to 1983 he acted as deputy head of department at the Rheine regional seminar. From 1983 until he took up his state mandate in 1993, he was rector of a secondary school in Rheine.

Josef Wilp is married and has a daughter.

politics

Wilp has been a member of the CDU since 1964. Since 1988 he has been a member of the CDU district committee in Steinfurt. From 1969 to 1974 he was a member of the municipal council of Mesum and the Rheine office. Wilp has been a member of the Rheine city council since 1975 and has been chairman of the CDU parliamentary group there since 1975. From 1993 to 2010, Josef Wilp was a member of the state parliament of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament for the constituency of Steinfurt II .
