Josef Windhausen
Josef Windhausen (born February 15, 1888 in Waldniel , † November 21, 1946 there ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).
Life and work
After attending school, he completed a commercial apprenticeship and then worked as a linen salesman. Windhausen was married.
He was a member of the district assembly of the former district of Kempen-Krefeld from December 2, 1945 to October 13, 1946. The members of this district assembly were appointed by the British occupying forces. He was a member of the elected district council from October 13, 1946 until his death on November 21, 1946. From December 13, 1945 to June 11, 1946 Windhausen was deputy district administrator and from June 11, 1946 to October 25, 1946 district administrator of the district. He was also a member of the council of the municipality Waldniel and at times mayor of the municipality.
