Joseph Addison (diplomat)

Sir Joseph Addison KCMG (born November 3, 1879 , † 1953 ) was a British diplomat .

Addison joined the Foreign Service in 1903 and was used in Beijing from 1908 to 1910 . On January 1, 1924, he was accepted as a Companion in the Order of St. Michael and St. George . Addison was Counselor at the British Embassy in Berlin from 1924 to 1928 . From April 7, 1930 to 1936 he was ambassador to Prague . In 1936 he was retired .
