James William Ronald Macleay

Sir James William Ronald Macleay , KCMG (* 1870 - † 1943 ) was a British diplomat .

Macleay married Evelyn Emily Peel in 1901 and had one child with her. On January 1, 1920 he was appointed ambassador to Argentina and Paraguay . From 1922 to December 20, 1926 he was ambassador to China , from 1927 to 1930 ambassador to Prague . From 1930 to 1933 he was again ambassador to Buenos Aires . On June 3, 1932, Macleay Knight became Commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George .
