Joseph Chebet
Joseph Chebet (born August 23, 1970 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .
He won both the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon in 1999 , having finished runner- up in both races the previous year.
Further successes are a victory in the Amsterdam Marathon in 1996, a victory in the Turin Marathon in 1997, a second place in the New York City Marathon in the same year and a victory in the Vienna City Marathon in 2003.
He set his personal best of 2:07:37 in 1998 in Boston.
