Joseph William "Joe" Crockett (born February 16, 1905 in Washington, DC , † July 11, 2001 in Englewood ) was an American marksman .
Career
Joseph Crockett took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris . With the free rifle he was in team competition together with Morris Fisher , Walter Stokes , Sidney Hinds and Raymond Coulter before the teams of France and Haiti's Olympic champion . With 133 points, Crockett achieved the third best result of his team after Fisher (142) and Stokes (138). Coulter and Hinds scored one and two points less than Crockett, respectively.
