Joseph Heinrich Friedlieb
Joseph Heinrich Friedlieb (born September 1, 1810 in Meisenheim , † March 17, 1900 in Breslau ) was a German Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
He studied in Trier from 1832. After being ordained a priest in 1837, he studied in Bonn , where he qualified as a professor in March 1840 in Old and New Testament exegesis . In 1845 he was appointed associate professor for moral theology in Breslau and in 1847 full professor for moral theology . In 1850 he switched to the chair of New Testament exegesis , which he held until 1895.
