Joseph Hinterleithner

Joseph Hinterleithner , also Sepp Hinterleithner , (born June 13, 1946 in Vienna ; † December 21, 2010 in Kirchdorf am Inn ) was an Austrian ceramist .

Live and act

From 1970 to 1975 he studied at the University of Artistic and Industrial Design Linz in the master class for ceramics with Günter Praschak and then worked as a freelance artist.

Exhibitions and participation in exhibitions at home and abroad were successful and he was able to receive the Josef Hoffmann Seminar for Ceramic Design and an appreciation award from the Federal Ministry for Science and Research. He was a member of the Innviertel artists' guild .

He lived in Taufkirchen an der Pram for years and had a studio there in the former dairy. Most recently he lived and worked in Kirchdorf am Inn, impaired by a serious eye disease and the consequences of a fall.
