Joseph Krafft
Joseph Krafft (born January 19, 1786 in Hanau , † June 23, 1828 in Neustift am Walde ) was an Austrian painter.
At first, like his father Johann Ignaz Krafft, he devoted himself to enamel painting, but then turned to oil painting . Around 1801, like his brother Johann Peter Krafft, he went to Vienna, where he painted portraits , initially as miniatures. He painted the Austrian Emperor Franz I and his wife Carolina Augusta . In 1825 he painted the Prince-Bishop Sigismund Anton von Hohenwart .
