Joseph Kratofiel

Joseph Kratofiel (born March 27, 1870 in Nassadel , Silesia ; † December 15, 1949 in Munich ) was a German Catholic politician of the BVP , member of the state parliament from January 21, 1919 to May 19, 1928 and president of the International Federation of Christian Post and telegraph staff. For the state election in Bavaria in 1924 , he joined his own group of civil servants Kratofiel and was able to hold his seat with 0.78% of the votes. For the state election in Bavaria in 1928 , the Kratofiel civil servants' group stood in a list connection with the Reich Party for People's Law and Appreciation and the Christian Social Reich Party and lost its seat in the state parliament.

He was a sub- civil servant in the Reich Postal Service and a senior official of the Bavarian Post Association as well as a representative in the main committee of the Bavarian Relief Organization for the needy population from July 9, 1924 to April 27, 1928.

Kratofiel was involved in the ongoing considerations since 1906, as the association wanted to build a rest home for union members, which was opened on May 31, 1914 in Brannenburg . The names Georg Gebhard , Johann Meyer and Hans Mayer are closely associated with this project .
