Joseph M'Barek
Joseph M'Barek (born May 28, 1986 in Munich ) is a film producer who is known from German cinema and television productions. He previously played as an actor in the movies Die Apothekerin (1996), Sommersturm (2004) and The Wave (2008), among others . Joseph M'Barek is the brother of Elyas M'Barek , with whom he stood in front of the camera in Die Welle . After studying at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy , he devoted himself to his own projects as a producer and in 2012 made his first feature film, Fünf Jahre Leben , which u. a. won the Max Ophüls Prize and was nominated for the German Film Prize. In 2013 he was nominated for the First-Steps Award in the category “Best Young Producer”. He is now active as a film producer for various TV and cinema projects in Munich.
