Joseph Nafaa

Joseph Nafaa (born March 14, 1969 in Andket , near Tripoli Lebanon ) is a clergyman of the Maronite Catholic Church and Curia Bishop at the Patriarchate of Antioch .

Life

Joseph Nafaa received on 14 September 1995, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the archeparchy Tripoli .

The Synod of the Syrian-Maronite Church of Antioch elected him curia bishop at the Patriarchate in Beirut. Pope Francis confirmed the election on June 17, 2016 and appointed him Titular Bishop of Aradus . The patriarch of Antioch, Béchara Boutros Cardinal Raï , ordained him episcopal on August 3 of the same year. Co -consecrators were Archbishop Georges Bou-Jaoudé , Archbishop of Tripoli in Lebanon , and Archbishop Paul Nabil El-Sayah , Archbishop Emeritus of the Maronite Patriarchate of Antioch.
