Joseph Paul Amoah (born January 12, 1997 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian sprinter .

Athletic career

Joseph Paul Amoah gained his first international experience in 2018 at the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast , where he was eliminated in the semi-finals in the 200-meter run with 20.99 seconds. The following year he took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time , where he reached fourth place in the 100-meter run in 10.11 s and was eliminated in the preliminary round over 200 meters with 21.20 s. He also won the Ghanaian 4 x 100 meter relay with a new player record of 38.30 seconds. Then he retired at the World Championships in Doha over 100 meters with 10.36 s in the lead and also did not reach the final with the relay with 38.24 s .
