Joseph Phuong Nguyen
Joseph Phuong Nguyen (born March 25, 1957 in Vietnam ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Kamloops in Canada .
Life
Joseph Nguyen received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Vancouver on May 30, 1992 .
On June 1, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Kamloops. The Archbishop of Vancouver, John Michael Miller , ordained him episcopally on August 25 of that year . Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Prince George , Stephen Arthur Jensen , and his predecessor, David Monroe .
