Evaristo Pascoal Spengler
Evaristo Pascoal Spengler OFM (born March 29, 1959 in Gaspar , Santa Catarina , Brazil ) is a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic prelate of Marajó .
Life
Evaristo Pascoal Spengler joined the order of the Franciscans , made his profession on August 2, 1982 and was ordained a deacon on November 21 of the same year . He received the sacrament of ordination on May 19, 1984.
On June 1, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Prelate of the Territorial Prelature of Marajó . The episcopal ordination received his Leonardo Ulrich Steiner , OFM, Auxiliary Bishop of Brasilia , on August 6 of that year. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Belém do Pará , Alberto Taveira Corrêa , and the former Bishop of Duque de Caxias , Mauro Morelli . The inauguration in Marajó took place on August 27, 2016.
