Joseph Stadler (athlete)
Joseph F. Stadler ( Joseph F. Stadler ; born June 12, 1880 in Cleveland , Ohio , † February 25, 1950 in Temple City , California ) was an American athlete .
In addition to George Poage , he was the only African-American athlete in the 1904 Olympic Games in St. Louis. Stadler won silver in the standing vault with a height of 1.44 m and bronze in the standing triple jump with a width of 9.60 m.
