Joseph Stiller

Joseph Stiller (* before March 5, 1731 in Ettringen ; † June 12, 1771 in Lamerdingen ) was a plasterer , bricklayer and builder .

Life

He was the son of the plasterer Michael Stiller and his second wife Teresia Lang and the grandson of Matthäus (also Matthias), the builder of the parish church of St. Nikolaus in Großaitingen . He prepared a cost estimate for the electoral court chamber in the Duchy of Bavaria for the masonry work on the church of St. Magnus in Unterrammingen in Upper Swabia and carried out the order from 1767 to 1768. He died of lightning on the tower of the parish church of St. Martin in Lamerdingen, which his father had redesigned in 1736/37.
