Joseph Weber (Bishop)
Joseph Weber CR (born June 12, 1846 in Fürstenthal , Bukowina , † March 24, 1918 ) was a Ukrainian Catholic archbishop .
At the age of 49 Weber was appointed titular bishop of Temnus and auxiliary bishop in Lemberg with effect from December 2, 1895 . Five years later, he was appointed Archbishop as a personal title on April 15, 1901, he received the title of Titular Archbishop of Darnis in Egypt and thus succeeded José Pereira da Silva Barros .
Effective May 26, 1906 Weber resigned almost all of his offices and joined the religious order of the Resurrectionists , in which he made his profession on June 24, 1906 . He died on March 24, 1918 at the age of 71.
