Josephus Tethool
Josephus Tethool MSC (born April 1, 1934 in Besuk , Merauke , Indonesia ; † January 18, 2010 ) was auxiliary bishop in Amboina , Indonesia.
Life
Josephus Tethool joined the congregation of the Sacred Heart Missionaries , made his profession on August 22, 1957 and was ordained a priest on December 20, 1961 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Apisa Maius in 1982 and appointed him auxiliary bishop in the Diocese of Amboina . The episcopal ordination donated to him on September 26, 1982 Archbishop Pablo Puente Buces , Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Indonesia; Co- consecrators were Andreas Peter Cornelius Sol MSC, Bishop of Amboina, and Francis Xavier Sudartanta Hadisumarta OCarm , Bishop of Malang .
In 2009 Pope Benedict XVI. granted his age-related application for retirement.
