Josie Bissett
Josie Bissett (born October 5, 1970 in Seattle , Washington ; actually Jolynn Christine Heutmaker ) is an American actress .
life and career
Bissett went to Japan at the age of 16 to begin a modeling career. There she adopted the stage name Josie Bissett . She first appeared in a music video in the 1980s and later took acting classes. Then she got smaller roles (including Parker Lewis , Doogie Howser ) and some offers for commercials (including Sprite , Calvin Klein ).
In 1991 Bissett met fellow actor Rob Estes at an audition , whom she married a year later on May 1, 1992. In 1992 she got the lead role of Jane Mancini in the television series Melrose Place , which she played until the middle of the fifth season. She left the series when she became pregnant, but returned to the series in 1998 after a miscarriage. The US magazine People voted her among the 50 most beautiful people in the world in 1996.
In the fall of 2003, after a four-year hiatus, Bissett made a guest appearance on the series Law & Order: New York . In 2005 she made the film Your, Mine, Our Children , in which she plays the mother of an extended family alongside Rob Estes .
At the beginning of 2006, Bissett separated from Estes, with whom they had two children (* 1999 and * 2002). However, it wasn't until August 2006 that she officially announced the separation from Estes on a television show and requested a divorce.
