In the meantime he worked as private detective Mike Hammer in the television film Mike Hammer - On the wrong track in the footsteps of Mickey Spillane in 1994 . In the 1998 action film Terror in the Mall , he played a murderer who had escaped from prison. A planned offshoot of the series, in which he would play the lead role as Jess' father, was not realized.

He temporarily had an ongoing role on the television series CSI: Miami and has been on the Women's Murder Club series since 2007 .
