Josip Vogrinc

Josip Vogrinc (* 1924 or 1925; † 1988 ) was a Yugoslav table tennis player .

Career

Between 1948 and 1961 he took part in all nine world championships . At the 1951 World Cup , he won bronze with the Yugoslav team.

He was also nominated for the first European Championships , where he represented Yugoslavia in 1958, 1960 and 1962. Here he reached the semi-finals in doubles in 1960.

At the Yugoslav Open in 1958 he was first. He also took part in the International German Championships several times. Here he achieved several successes:

With the club SD Borac Zagreb Vogrinc was 1951 Yugoslav national champion. He later played for SD Graficar Zagreb. In the ITTF world rankings , he was 15th in 1956.

Private

Vogrinc was a lithographer by profession . He was married.
