Joske Van Santberghe

Joske Van Santberghe (born August 8, 1949 ) is a former Belgian middle and long distance runner .

From 1971 to 1974 she was Belgian cross-country champion four times in a row , and in 1971 she won the national title in the 1,500-meter run .

After three participations in the Cross of Nations (14th place in 1970; 55th place in 1971; fourth place in 1972), she celebrated her greatest international success at the first cross-country championships in 1973 in Waregem by winning the bronze medal. The following year she was eleventh at the Cross Country World Championships in Monza .

Joske Van Santberghe started for the Daring Club Leuven Atletiek (DCLA).
