Jossatal

Jossatal was a briefly independent municipality that existed from the end of 1971 and in 1974 became part of the Jossgrund municipality in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse .

history

The municipality of Jossatal was formed as part of the regional reform in Hesse on December 31, 1971 from the previously independent municipalities of Burgjoss , Oberndorf and Pfaffenhausen of the then district of Gelnhausen . Jossatal had approx. 2750 inhabitants.

Already on July 1, 1974 Jossatal was with the community Lettgenbrunn powerful state law the new municipality Jossgrund together .
