Jozo Matošić
Jozo Matošić (born January 27, 1913 in Split , † March 1, 1999 in Dubrovnik ) was a Croatian and Yugoslav football player on the position of defender . He played throughout his career for NK Hajduk Split , with whom he won the Croatian soccer championship three times as a player in the 1940s and the Yugoslav soccer championship in 1952 as a coach .
Jozo Matošić is the older brother of Frane Matošić , the most successful goalscorer in the club's history. Between 1934 and 1940 Jozo Matošić completed a total of 24 international appearances for the Yugoslav national football team .
