Ju Hye-ri (born February 21, 1991 ) is a South Korean cross-country skier .

Career

Ju started the cross-country Far East Cup for the first time in February 2009 at the Alpensia Resort and finished ninth over 10 km freestyle and eighth place over 5 km classic. At the Winter Universiade 2011 in Erzurum , she achieved 55th place over 5 km classic, 47th place in the sprint and tenth place with the relay. In the 2015/16 season , she came in the top ten four times in the Far East Cup. She won her first victory in the Alpensia Resort over 10 km freestyle and reached fourth place in the overall ranking at the end of the season. In February 2016 she became the South Korean champion in sprint, 15 km mass start race and over 10 km classic. She ran her first World Cup races at the beginning of the 2016/17 season in Ruka , finishing 79th over 10 km classic and 76th in the sprint. At the end of January 2017 she became the South Korean champion in skiathlon and sprint. The following month, she won the bronze medal with the relay at the 2017 Winter Asian Games in Sapporo . At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she ran 79th place over 10 km freestyle, 67th place in the sprint and, together with Lee Chae-won , 21st place in the team sprint.
