Juan José "Juanjo" Panadero Alcalá (born May 10, 1974 in Valencia ) is a former Spanish handball player . He played half a year for TSV GWD Minden in the Bundesliga .

career

Panadero made his debut in the Spanish ASOBAL league at the age of 17 with BM Avidesa Alzira and won the EHF Cup in 1994 . When the association was dissolved due to financial problems, he moved to Vigo to SD Octavio Pilotes Posada and in 1997 to Ademar León . He spent his longest time with a club in his hometown with BM Valencia , until Bundesliga club TSV GWD Minden signed him for six months in January 2004. Panadero returned to BM Altea for two years in Spain and in 2006 moved to the Danish club Aalborg BK . After two months, however, the contract was terminated again because Panadero wanted to return to Spain for family reasons. He played for JD Arrate until the end of the 2006/07 season before a knee injury forced him to retire at the age of 33.

Panadero played 13 youth and 40 junior internationals (28 and 94 goals respectively) for Spain and between 1994 and 2003 35 internationals (89 goals) for the Spanish senior team .
