Juan Píriz (born May 17, 1902 in Montevideo , † March 23, 1946 ) was a Uruguayan football player .

Club career

The Durazno native Píriz, who was the older brother of Conduelo Píriz , uncle of Juan Emilio Píriz and great-uncle Willy Píriz ', played in the club for Club Atlético Defensor and Nacional Montevideo . He belonged to the latter club during his Olympic participation in 1928.

National team

Píriz was a member of the Uruguayan national soccer team , with which he celebrated winning the gold medal at the 1928 Summer Olympics . In the course of the tournament he was used both in the game against the German Olympic team and in the second final against Argentina.
