Juan Pablo Caffa (born September 30, 1984 in Santa Fe , Argentina ) is an Argentine football player who plays for Arsenal de Sarandí . His nickname is "El violinista del Viaducto", translated as "The violinist of the viaduct", since he always plays an imaginary violin at gates.

Player career

The beginnings

First, Juan Pablo Caffa played in the youth of the South American top club Boca Juniors , for which he also played in a first division match in 2003. In the 2004/2005 season he played for the second division Ferro Carril, as he could never prevail at the Boca Juniors. After just one year, in early 2005, he returned to the Argentine first division to play numerous games for Arsenal de Sarandí over the next two years .

Betis Seville

After strong performances at Arsenal, he moved to Betis Sevilla in January 2007 for € 2 million . He played his first league game on February 4, 2007 against Athletic Bilbao . He played regularly in midfield of the Andalusians.

Argentina, Greece, Uruguay, Ecuador

In the 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons, he played a total of 59 league games for Arsenal de Sarandí , scoring six goals for the Argentines. From mid-January 2013 to September 2014 he played for Asteras Tripoli in Greece and played 26 league games in which he scored twice in the opposing goal. In September 2014, Caffa joined the Uruguayan first division club Defensor Sporting , for whom he played eight times in the Primera División in the 2014 Apertura . He didn't score a goal. At the beginning of 2015 he continued his career at LDU Loja in Ecuador. There he was 38 times (nine goals) in Primera A and twice (no goal) in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana . At the beginning of 2016 he continued his career at Universidad Católica , where he scored twice in 18 league appearances in the opposing goal. In February 2017 he was signed by the Tulsa Roughnecks , where he has played 18 USL games and scored six goals so far (as of August 10, 2017).
