Juan Pablo Paz (born January 4, 1995 in Quilmes ) is an Argentine tennis player .

Career

Juan Pablo Paz mainly plays tournaments on the lower-class Future and Challenger Tour. So far he has won five single and five double titles on the Future Tour. On the Challenger Tour, he reached the double-finals in Schymkent with Clément Geens in 2017 , which he lost to Hans Podlipnik-Castillo and Andrej Wassileuski in two sets.

Paz made his debut on the ATP World Tour in 2017 in Quito in doubles. He received a wild card together with Gonzalo Escobar and met Rajeev Ram and Janko Tipsarević in the first round . He was able to win this duel in three sets, but was eliminated in the second round in three sets against the third-placed Nicholas Monroe and Artem Sitak . In singles, he has already made it into the top 300, while in doubles his best placement is a 348th place in June 2017.
