Juan Van Heerden (born September 24, 1986 in Phalaborwa ; † May 3, 2012 ) was a South African cyclist .
Juan Van Heerden won a stage in the junior race Tour de l'Abitibi in 2004 . At the Commonwealth Youth Championships, he won the silver medal in the road race and in the individual time trial . In 2007 he won the third stage of the Tour d'Egypte . He was also second in the stage once more and he finished third in the Pick'n Pay Fast One one-day race. From 2008 to 2010 Van Heerden drove for the South African team MTN .
