Juan Vicente Lecuna

Juan Vicente Lecuna (born November 20, 1899 in Valencia , Venezuela , † April 16, 1954 in Rome ) was a Venezuelan diplomat and composer .

After studying in Caracas , New York and Baltimore , he entered the diplomatic service and was most recently the representative of his home country at the Vatican State .

According to his compositional work he is one of the late romantics, he created two "symphonic Venezuelan dances", a piano concerto , a string quartet , a violin sonata and various works for piano , as well as secular and sacred vocal music.
