Juan de la Cruz Ortiz (born April 7, 1983 in León , Guanajuato ) is a retired Mexican soccer player who mainly played in midfield .

career

De la Cruz began his professional career at Club Atlas , for which he was first used on August 12, 2000 in a game in the Mexican Primera División against local rivals Tecos UAG (1-1). In his first half-season , the winter tournament 2000 (first half of the 2000/01 season), De la Cruz came to 7 missions with a total playing time of 193 minutes. While he was hardly set up in the entire year 2001, he had his most appearances in the 2002 summer tournament (first half of the 2002/03 season), when he came to 13 appearances with a total length of 472 minutes. Another season with an above-average number of stakes was the opening tournament in 2003 (first half of the 2003/04 season) with 9 stakes and a total of 385 minutes of playing time. Otherwise, De la Cruz was rarely used and was initially given to the Coyotes de Sonora farm team in 2005 , before moving to the Querétaro Fútbol Club in the same year .
