Jucinara Thais Soares Paz (born August 3, 1993 in Porto Alegre ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Club career

Jucinara began her sporting career at the age of fifteen in the youth development department of SC Internacional in Porto Alegre . In 2012 she joined the talent development program at the Centro Olímpico in São Paulo , with which she won the first Brazilian championship in 2013. In 2016 she played for the club cooperative of Grêmio Osasco Audax and SC Corinthians and stayed with the latter club after their separation for the 2017 season. In August 2017, she moved to Atlético Madrid in the Spanish Primera División Femenina , with whom she won the championship in her first season.

National team

In 2010 Jucinara belonged to the U17 selection of Brazil when they won the U17 South American Championship in their own country and played in the U17 World Championship in Trinidad and Tobago that same year . In 2012 she also ran for the U20 selection.

In 2017, Jucinara made eight international appearances for the Brazilian selection under national coach Emily Lima . She made her debut when she came on as a substitute on April 9, 2017 in Manaus in a 6-0 win against Bolivia . For the first time in the starting lineup, she ran on July 4, 2017 in the 1: 3 defeat against Germany in Sandhausen .
