Judith Rauch

Judith Rauch (* 1956 ) is a German journalist . As a science reporter for the Schwäbischer Tagblatt from Tübingen , she won first prize in the 1986 "Reporter of Science" competition.

Life

Rauch studied biology and graduated with a diploma. From 1984 she worked as a journalist. From 1986 to 1991 Judith Rauch was editor of the women's magazine Emma in Cologne , from 1992 to 1999 reporter and editor of the magazine Das Beste / Reader's Digest in Stuttgart . Her articles appeared in different languages ​​in up to 21 issues of the international magazine. From October 1999 to August 2007 she had an editorial office in Tübingen. Her focus is on topics and trends from science, technology and society.

From September 2007 to November 2012 Judith Rauch was the text editor for the life sciences and medicine section of the magazine " Bild der Wissenschaft ". From December 2012 to December 2013 she worked as head of duty at the online portal dasGehirn.info. Judith Rauch was a scholarship holder of the “Journalistes en Europe” foundation in Paris . She is a member of the Journalistinnenbund eV and the International Science Writers Association (ISWA). She has been teaching science journalism at the University of Tübingen since the winter semester 2005/06 and is editor of the online magazines Studentenfutter , InPut and FRAU weiß . Since 2008 she has been co-author of the media and socially critical journalist blog WatchSalon.
