Youth Art Prize Baden-Württemberg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Baden-Württemberg Youth Art Prize has been awarded since 1998 and is awarded annually by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and the Baden-Württemberg State Association of Art Schools . Partners are the Volks- und Raiffeisenbanken in Baden-Württemberg.

It is intended to offer young artists the opportunity to present themselves and their works to a wider public. Anyone who is between 15 and 21 years old by the deadline and who lives in Baden-Württemberg at the time of the advertisement is allowed to participate is allowed to attend a school or undergo training .

The winners are determined by a jury in two stages:

  • Preselection: On the basis of the completed participation forms, 40 works are selected that will later be exhibited regionally.
  • Final round: On the basis of the selected original works, 16 prize winners are determined, eight each win an art trip or a workshop at the Akademie Schloss Rotenfels .
