The youth center Försterstrasse (short: Förster-Juz ) is a youth center in the Nauwieser Viertel in Saarbrücken .

The listed building at Försterstrasse 6/8 was built in 1920 under the architect Franz Kaiser as an office building for the Saarland General Local Health Insurance Fund . House no. 8 still contains the core of its predecessor building from 1897. In 1973 the AOK moved into a new and larger building at Halbergstrasse 1.

A youth center has been located in the building since 1978. A café, an event hall and group rooms on two floors are available. Four social pedagogues look after young people between 10 and 20 years of age. A large number of concerts were held in the Juz. While EAV , Wolf Maahn , Embryo or Fehlfarben performed in the 1980s, Die Aeronauten , Jupiter Jones , Hot Water Music , The Parachutes or rap acts like Torch , Blumio or Kurtis Blow and many more could be seen from the 1990s .
