Robiano Youth Circus
The youth circus Robiano is a youth circus from Switzerland .
The 20 or so artists are between 10 and 17 years old. Both the operational managers of the circus as well as the employees behind the ring and the circus musicians work on a voluntary basis; most of them are former artists.
In 1988 , interested people organized a circus tour on the Robinson playground in Frenkendorf . Thought as a one-off project , it expanded and became a circus with an annual program. After regular intensive training , a summer camp and several training weekends, the performances take place during the school holidays in autumn . The tour stops in the cantons of Basel-Landschaft , Basel-Stadt , Zug and Aargau .
The Robiano tent can accommodate around 150 guests. Admission is traditionally charged in the form of a voluntary collection .
