Juggernaut was an American thrash metal band from San Antonio , Texas that was formed in 1985 and broke up in 1993.
history
The band was formed in 1985 by singer Harlan Glenn, guitarist Eddie Katilius, bassist Scott Womack and drummer Bobby Jarzombek. After the band had rehearsed a few songs, the following year the debut album Baptism Under Fire followed. In addition, the band was included with a song on the compilation Metal Massacre VII . Her second album followed in 1987 under the name Trouble Within . Instead of singer Glenn, Steve Cooper could now be heard. The album's release would be the group's last before it broke up in 1993. Drummer Jarzombek, whose brother is guitarist with the band Watchtower , was later to play in bands such as Demons & Wizards , Halford , Iced Earth , Riot or Spastic Ink .

The band played progressive thrash metal, the music being comparable to old works by Overkill , with Juggernaut's songs being much more complex.
