Jules Kyburz

Jules Kyburz (born February 21, 1932 in Oberentfelden ) is a Swiss manager who was the managing director and president of the Migros cooperative.

Live and act

As a 17-year-old Kyburz went to sea for a few months and then graduated from a commercial school. He joined Migros in 1952 in Wetzikon as a magician . He then became branch manager, sales manager, managing director of the Migros Cooperative Bern and in 1984 managing director of the entire Migros company. From 1992 to 2000 he was President of the Migros Cooperative. In this company he went through all career stages from magazine and salesman to managing director and president in times of growth and represented the ideals and principles of the founder Gottlieb Duttweiler .

After retiring in 1993, he was President of the Gottlieb and Adele Duttweiler Foundation until 2012 .
