Julian Erhart on his debut for the Austrian U-19 national team (2010)

Julian Erhart (born May 4, 1992 in Mäder ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

The 182 centimeter tall striker started playing football at the Vorarlberg regional league club FC Mäder at the age of eight . Because of his talent, he was accepted into the Vorarlberg Football Academy in 2006, where, in addition to his school education at the Bregenz Commercial Academy, he received intensive football training.

He was also used sporadically from 2008 for the national league team of FC Mäder, where he made eight championship appearances between 2008 and 2009, in which he scored one goal. After he was in the squad of the first combat team for the first time in the 1-1 home draw against FC Sulzberg on March 22, 2008 , he made his competitive debut in the Vorarlbergliga on April 16, 2008 when he lost the 0-1 away defeat against FC Schwarzach in the 81st minute of the game for his team-mate Markus Moder.

On May 10, 2008 Erhart was on the field for the first time from the start and was in action for the full game in this 1-1 away draw against FC Rätia Bludenz . After he was in the squad in seven championship games this season and was used in six games, Erhart reached tenth place with the team in the final table. The rest of the time Erhart was mainly active in the youth field, where he scored 43 goals in 20 completed championship games. In the 2008/09 season, the committed young striker was rarely used. In just two appearances, he scored his first goal for FC Mäder in the Vorarlbergliga on May 17, 2009 and that of all things in the game against his future employer.

On July 14th, 2009 Erhart moved to SCR Altach in the first league (second performance level), where he signed his first contract as a professional footballer after his 18th birthday. In the first round he made his professional debut on July 13, 2010 in a 4-0 home win against TSV Hartberg , when he came on for Patrick Scherrer in the 81st minute .

Thanks to his achievements, he was called up for the U18 international match against his colleagues from Poland , which was held in Purbach on April 28, 2010, in the national team. After he corresponded there, he was taken into the squad of the Austrian under-19 national team.

Since the beginning of the 2014/15 season, he has been playing for the regional division FC Höchst .
