Julian Gamble (born September 15, 1989 in Durham , North Carolina , United States ) is an American basketball player . He is currently under contract in Italy with Virtus Segafredo Bologna .

Career

Gamble received his basketball training from 2007 to 2013 at the University of Miami . In his senior season with the Miami Hurricanes in the US college league NCAA , Gamble averaged 6.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. In the 2013 NBA draft , Gamble was not drafted.

Gamble signed his first professional contract with the French second division club Saint-Vallier Basket Drôme (2013/14 season). There he averaged 16.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.

In the summer of 2014, Gamble moved to the Belgian league for Basic-FIT Brussels . In the 2015/16 season, Gamble was able to advance to the playoff semifinals with Brussels and averaged 16.6 points and 8.3 rebounds.

Gamble moved to the German basketball league for the Telekom Baskets Bonn for the 2016/17 season . After the playoff of Telekom Baskets Bonn against champion Brose Bamberg in May 2018, Gamble joined the French first division club ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne for the rest of the 2017/2018 season .

For the 2018/19 season, Gamble moves to Nanterre 92 within the French league .
