Julian Grupp (born July 29, 1991 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German football player . He plays for 1. CfR Pforzheim and is used as a right-back and as a defensive midfielder.
Career
Grupp initially played at TSGV Waldstetten and at 1. FC Normannia Gmünd . He later worked for VfB Stuttgart and SSV Reutlingen 05 . From the 2009/10 season, Grupp was used in the men's team of SSV Reutlingen. After the SSV was relegated to the league in 2010, he was used more often. In the summer of 2011, Grupp moved to the Regionalliga Süd for SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . There he became a regular player, but missed many games in the 2012/13 season due to an ankle injury . For the 2013/14 season, Grupp went to the 3rd division for SV Wehen Wiesbaden , where he immediately became a regular player. His contract ran until the summer of 2015. After that, he was without a club, before he was signed by SC Freiburg for their regional league team in October 2015 .
After his contract expired, Grupp moved to the Regionalliga TuS Koblenz for one year in July 2016 . For the 2017/18 season he signed the first division club 1. CfR Pforzheim .
