Julian Stuer (* 1990 ) is a professional German poker player .
Poker career
Stuer comes from Rosenheim and lives in Vienna . He has been taking part in renowned live tournaments since 2010 .
In July 2011, Stuer was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and finished in 93rd place at the main event for almost 65,000 US dollars in prize money. In mid-May 2014 he finished second at the main event of the Bregenz Open and received almost 60,000 euros for it. At the beginning of May 2016, Stuer finished in 14th place at the high roller event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Monte-Carlo for around 85,000 euros. At the end of August 2016, he finished eighth at the EPT Super High Roller in Barcelona and received more than 180,000 euros in prize money. At the EPT in Prague in December 2016, Stuer finished second in a one-day high roller tournament and secured almost 400,000 euros. At the beginning of May 2017, he won the high roller event of the PokerStars Championship in Monte-Carlo. For this he prevailed against 186 other players and received over one million euros in prize money.
In total, Stuer earned at least $ 2.5 million in poker in live tournaments.
